MARK MEADOWS FOR CONGRESS (NC 11) ENDORSED BY RETIRED NC STATE SENATOR JIMMY JACUMIN

HENDERSONVILLE, NC – US NC 11 GOP frontrunner Mark Meadows picked up another prestigious endorsement this week. Jimmy Jacumin, a retired retired State Senator representing Burke and Caldwell counties, gave Meadows a ringing endorsement at the Burke County GOP meeting in Icard Thursday night.

“Mark Meadows is genuine through and through and that is what we would get if he goes to Washington,” said Jacumin. “Mark has a good bit of Jesse Helms in him. He puts his moral beliefs, even if they are controversial, out there in his platform and then doesn’t back away from them. My wife Nancy Nell and I are proud to endorse Mark Meadows.”

In addition to representing Burke and Caldwell counties in the NC State Senate, Jacumin has served as a Trustee of Gardner Webb University and Valdese General Hospital. He is a member of the Central Piedmont Chapter of Professional Engineers of North Carolina and Co-Chairman of the Burke County Wolfpack Club. Because of his representation he was made an “Honorary Citizen” of Caldwell County

Another big development today in the race for US NC 11: The Cook Report changed the status of the competitive district race today from “toss-up” to “likley Republican”.

Meadows is a fiscal and social conservative who has served on numerous boards and was recently appointed to the State Board for Economic Development in Western North Carolina, because of his expertise in business and creating jobs. He is a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights, a Christian Conservative and a champion of “Life, Liberty, and Lower Taxes.”

A successful small businessman, Mark Meadows has spent his career creating new jobs and opportunities for economic development in Western North Carolina. He is supported by numerous County Sheriffs in U.S. N.C District 11 and other elected officials throughout North Carolina.
